Babies Everywhere

Last night Heather said she thinks everyone is pregnant. (I'm not. My wife's not. Heather's not...at least, not that I know of.) Anyway, I couldn't think of many people. She listed off some and convinced me. Jess R., Jenn M., Kristi T., Kelly T., Virnna S., and the list goes on. Then I started thinking of all the babies born recently. My perfect niece, Destiny Dawn. Gabriel Robert, born to some old friends of mine. Asa, whose middle name I forget. Brett and Danyel's baby must be born by now. It's wild, really. Is this just my age? Does everyone feel like all your friends are having babies around 24? Or is there something going around? Baby fever?

I think it's something in the water, so if you Brita your water you're safe...or bottled water would be safe too. Otherwise, drink from the tap at your own risk!

It could have something to do with all the bets going around about who's going to get pregnant first...and there have been a LOT of weddings the past couple of years...

A few interesting remarks:

1) Super, we actually have a Pur water filtration system right on our water faucet. Believe me, we're taking no risks with the water.

2) Could anyone ever forget Kayla, really? (Congrats, by the way.)

3) Bets are unbecoming of Wesleyan ministers, even if they are church planting in the "wild" west. Wasn't yours one of the weddings, by the way? I trust this wasn't an announcement already.

4) Are any guys going to admit to baby fever? I have to confess that while I don't think I'm ready for a child yet, I love babies! Oh yeah, I forgot to write about this, but my baby sister (17 months) counted to ten on her own for me last month.

Some of us are still going strong (read: baby-free) and are well past the mean age, thank you. ;)
