Good morning and Happy Easter everyone!!!
The most amazing thing happened this morning... Our early church service was canceled on Easter Sunday due to the huge snow snowstorm we received last night!!! Many of you may be in a similar boat; but isn't it just absurd?!
Anyway, snow or no snow, service or no service, hallelujah! Christ is risen, Christ is risen indeed!
With love,
Lynn & Natasha
(Easter morning 2007 out our front window - good thing we don't get mail today!)
(We woke up to the sound of birds who will not be bathing and neighbors who will not be driving.)

yikes snow! I sure don't miss it. However, as we were going to our "non cancelled" be at the church earlier than the sunrise service...ahem 5:15am, it was -2 C (Lynn 29 F)in the car. Yikes it was cold. Add the wind to the mountain and it made it difficult to stay warm!
Even with all my gramatical errors above, we are wishing the Erskines Happy Easter!
We sure do miss you!
Crazy eh? Couldn't believe it when we woke up and looked out the window. Our services weren't canceled, but the obviously the crowds were way down. Made it kind of nice and intimate for such a special day.
In the hustle to get to church on the still covered roads we peeked out to see our sweet sweet neighbor plowing our driveway for us. Made my little heart melt, but the snow is just starting to do that today.
Can't wait until we can run and frolic in the warm sun!!
Heart melt, huh? What made my heart melt was the sun that came out halfway through Easter afternoon. We went over to the home of a family in the church and had an amazing evening! (Except for the cake. Maybe we'll blog about the cake disaster some time soon.)
